Prima Notte (First Night) owes its name to the custom, which provided that it was given to newlyweds as a good omen, for its invigorating and energizing properties.

Tasting notes:
Golden color with bright amber reflections.
Intense bouquet of wildflower honey, hints of propolis, pollen, and pine resin.
Palate: sweet in balance with acidity, soft, velvety, pleasantly bitter. Velvety on the palate it restores the essence of honey in the mouth.
Food pairing: Strudel, apple pies, Napoleon pie. Ideal after-meal.

Ponce al Mandarion Mugnetti. The original, a secret formula since 1909 at the base of its inimitable flavor. This mandarin liqueur, for over a hundred years, has warmed the cities of the Tuscan coast on cold winter days. It should be tasted heated neat or with a spray of steam from the espresso machine, garnished with the classic lemon zest (a sail).
Ponce alla Livornese Mugnetti. A drink naturally "married" to coffee which, in its traditional taste and in its rough and invigorating nature, reflects the maritime tradition of the city of Livorno. Suitable for all seasons, it is tasted in special glasses called "gottini", and lemon zest (a sail).
Amaro Carciofo liqueur is based on the essence of artichoke leaves and infused with other herbs and plants, it has a bitter-sweet taste and a dark amber color. Excellent as an after-dinner or a digestive. In some areas of Italy, it is also used to enrich white wine or as an additional ingredient for Spritz.

Alchermes Liqueur in Italy was well-known in Florence at the beginning of the sixteenth century, as an “elixir of long life”. The lively color and the characteristic aroma, obtained from various spices such as cinnamon, carnation, and cardamom, make it indispensable in pastry. Among the most common uses is the use for the preparation of Zuppa Inglese and Pesche di Prato (Alchermes Peaches) desserts.
