Langguth Winery recently started using a three-tier classification system for its wines: Basic, Premium, and Top. To further highlight the steep- and steepest slope viticulture, they assigned each tier a slope incline degree of 12°, 36 °, and 50°. These represent the average inclines of the respecting vineyards. 12° labelled is a basic wine tier, and it emphasises the typical characteristics of the Moselle Region: approachable dry to fruity Rieslings.
