Langguth Winery recently started using a three-tier classification system for its wines: Basic, Premium, and Top. To further highlight the steep- and steepest slope viticulture, they assigned each tier a slope incline degree of 12°, 36 °, and 50°. These represent the average inclines of the respecting vineyards. 

The Premium 36° wines, with their extraordinary quality and character, are a testament to the first-class slopes, all either ERTSE LAGE® or GROSSE LAGE®, upon which the grapes grow and the meticulous work with spontaneous fermentation in the cellar. The minerality of the Mosel soil is present in these wines and enhances their unique character.
